Zarda
Princess Zarda is an Inhuman from a parallel reality where Inhumans lived on the Isle of Utopia and remained completely secluded from the human world. Rather than receiving powers through Terrigenesis, this version of the Inhuman derived supernatural abilities by way of genetic engineering and specialized training, thus bestowing greatly enhanced strength, durability, speed and dexterity; along with a significantly elongated lifespan and defense against telepathy.
When human science developed the atomic bomb, the Inhumans of Utopia decided to leave earth and explore the cosmos in search of a safer world to inhabit. Zarda, the most powerful among them, chose to remain behind and possibly save the humans from their self-destructive ways.
Going by the name, Power Princess, Zarda became a super hero and joined the ranks of the Squadron Supreme (a team of superheroes in this reality that was purposefully analogous of the Justice League from DC Comics). Zarda had numerous adventures alongside these heroes. While living in the human world, Zarda met and fell in love with a man named Howard Sheldon, whom she eventually married.
Some time later, Zarda and the rest of the Squadron fell under the mental sway of the villainous Overmind who tried to use the Squadron to conquer the alternate 616 reality. This brought the Squadron into conflict with The Avengers. The Avengers ultimately prevailed and Zarda along with her fellow members of the Squadron were freed from Overmind’s mental control.
There have been additional versions of the Squadron Supreme throughout the multiverse. In some of these versions, Zarda remains an Inhuman, while in others she is revealed to be an alien as well as an ancient Greek Goddess. Each of these different versions of Zarda were destroyed in the build up to the Secret Wars event where inter-dimensional entropy cause these multiple realities to encroach onto one another.
One version of Zarda managed to survive and make her way to the new, unified Marvel 616 Universe. Here she has banded together with other displaced members of the Squadron Supreme to create a new team. This version of Zarda is a Utopian, but perhaps from a different Utopia unconnected to The Inhumans.
Zeta
The maternal grandmother of Black Bolt. Zeta married Magnar and had two children, a daughter named Rynda and a son named Mandar. Zeta’s daughter, Rynda, married the king, Agon, and together they had two sons, Blackgarr and Maximus. Zeta’s son, meanwhile, married Azur and together they had two sons of their own, Triton and Karnak.
Zeta has never been shown on page and her fate remains unrevealed.
Zorvash
An anchient Inhuman who lived on Attilan many centuries ago. Zorvash possessed some sort of genetic abnormality or congenital defect that in some way caused him to have a very deleterious reaction to Terrigenesis. What exactly happened is unknown, but it must have been quite bad in that it ultimately led to a concerted effort toward genetic screening prior to exposure to the Terrigen Mists.
In the wake of it all, Zorvash’s name became synonymous with poor genes. ‘By the polluted genes of Zorvash’ ended up a common phrase relaying bad luck or something that is outrageous. Gorgon bellowed this curse when he and The Royal Family first encountered the insect-like walking palace of the Purple Planet.
